Majority of the hemorrhoids get suppressed by just affecting the alteration of type of food eating and habit related to bowel movement and surgery option is not required. Once the hämorrhiden  is suppressed there is no necessity of any other treatment. Other treatments are required in conditions when the hemorrhoid is of very big size and the pain is persisting.

The objective of treating the patients suffering from hemorrhoids without surgical intervention referred as fixative procedure involves carrying out reduction in the supply of blood to the affected hemorrhoid causing it to shrink. The remaining scar tissue formed is supporting the anal tissue and is preventing appearance of more hemorrhoids.  .
  
This fixative procedure is very commonly used and involves use of rubber band to tie the hemorrhoid. It is also called legation of the hemorrhoid. The other similar procedure involves coagulation by any of the processes like deploying heat, laser or electric current to produce a scar in the region.
